To keep a printed zombie shirt sharp: wash it inside out in cold water on a gentle cycle, then tumble dry low or hang it. Skip bleach, fabric softener and ironing on the print. That is it.
How our shirts are printed
Our tees, sweatshirts and hoodies are printed direct-to-garment (DTG): the ink goes into the fabric instead of sitting on top like a thick plastic transfer. It feels soft, and it lasts well when you avoid heat.
Wash and dry, step by step
- Wait 24 hours after it arrives before the first wash.
- Turn it inside out.
- Cold water, gentle cycle, with similar colors.
- Mild detergent. No bleach, no fabric softener.
- Tumble dry low or hang dry. High heat is the main reason prints crack.
- Iron inside out on low if you must, never directly on the print.
Hoodies and sweatshirts
Same steps. Fleece blends can pill a little over time; washing inside out with similar fabrics helps.

- Mugs: hand wash for the longest life.
- Canvas and posters: dust with a dry cloth, keep out of direct sun.
